Sayre Child Center, located on Hamilton Avenue in Bethlehem, provides quality care and educational programs to over 75 children per day. Childcare programs are available to infants from six weeks of age through school age children up to fifth grade. They also offer a full-time summer care program.
Founded in 1899 by Mrs. Robert Sayre, Sayre Child Center was originally called the Cecil Sayre Day Nursery. The nursery was named in memory of Cecil B. Sayre, her son.
Sayre Child Center became a Select Employee Group of the Bethlehem 1st Federal Credit Union in 1975.
